Description:
VLF 33 is a parchment codex from the first half of the 14th c., its leaves measuring 320 x 230 mm. It is constructed of 14 quires of 4 bifolia, totalling 111 leaves (222 pages). Catchwords were added in the lower margins. Quire signatures are remnant; a 17th-c. hand added foliation in Arabic numerals. Written space covers 225/230 x 145 mm, divided into 2 columns of 49 lines ruled in dark ink. The text is written in Littera gothica textualis. Apart from some decorated text and letters in the beginning, initials have not been filled in. Inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has a 19th-c. cardboard cover with dark leather protection.
