Description:
VLF 93 is a parchment codex from the first half of the 13th c., its leaves measuring 300 x 195 mm. It is constructed of 10 quires of mostly 4 bifolia, totalling 69 leaves (138 pages). A few catchwords remain that were not cut off during the binding process. Written space covers 220/225 x 130/135 mm, divided into 2 columns of 43-45 lines (ruled in dark ink or in hard point). The text was written in Littera textualis by at least 4 different scribes. A major initial in red and blue is on f. 1r; minor initials in the same colours start off each chapter. Inscriptions are rubricated. The codex has an 18th-c. cardboard binding protected by multi-coloured paper and a parchment spine.
